SafeCab Professional Driver Training for Taxi and Private Hire Drivers.

This is an online classroom course suitable for all new and existing licensed private hire and hackney carriage drivers.

The next course is on 24th and 25th April 2024.

Timetable:

Day 1 – 3 hour and 15 minute session between 09:00 and 12:30pm.

Day 2 – 3 hour session between 9:15 and – 12:30pm.

The course runs over two days and covers the following parts of the SafeCab driver accreditation:

• Customer Service, Licensing and the Law
• Disability, Equality and Dementia awareness
• Safeguarding Children and Adults at Risk
• Driver Safety

Included with this course is a short e-learning introduction to SafeCab and what to expect on the course. This introduction can be accessed and viewed on any laptop, computer, smartphone or tablet device.

The SafeCab accreditation has been specifically designed for the needs of a modern taxi and private hire service. The course begins by giving detailed background information on how transport is evolving, what this means for taxi and private hire services, and why the topics covered in the course are so important to the health, safety and well-being of our communities.

Delivered by experts in the trade, the course is suitable for both new and existing drivers.

Following completion you will receive a SafeCab accredited electronic certificate and course summary material.
